Saturday October 28th we will be hosting our annual blood drive in the parish hall from 8:30 am – 1:30 pm. All donors will receive a $10 E-Gift card and a chance to win one of 3, $5,000 gift cards!
All Souls 9 Day Novena masses will be available at all masses this week Oct 21st & 22nd and next week Oct. 28th and 29th. Envelopes will also be available in the office through October 27th.
There is an upcoming ladies ACTS Retreat in November. Applications are in the Church foyer.
Knights of Columbus and Ladies Auxiliary will be hosting the Annual Toy Drive beginning October 28th through December 3rd. Boxes will be in the Hall Foyer and Church Foyer.
This weekend October 21-22 is “Called By Name” Sunday, the day when Bishop Kihneman is inviting everyone in the diocese to submit name of faithful young people who could have a vocation to priesthood or religious life.
Next week’s Adult Faith Formation will be “Angles in the Catholic Tradition” presented by Kirt Cuevas.
October is “Right to Life” month, try to fill the bottles for Walking with Moms and support the Drive Through Shower for Mom’s in need on October 28th from Noon to 2:00 p.m. Please do not take the bottles home.
GUMBO NEWS-Since there are no carnival rides this year, all masses will be held here during the Gumbo Festival. If you are working the festival, please park across the street at Reimann’s Funeral Home. There will be a Gumbo Fest Volunteer meeting on Monday, October 23rd in the Parish Center at 6:30 p.m. Gumbo Festival T-Shirts and 50/50 Raffle Tickets are now available for purchase in the church foyer before all masses. Don’t forget Gumbo Cookoff Applications are in the church foyer too!
Be reminded All Saints Day is a Holy Day of Obligation, the vigil mass will be held Tuesday, October 31st will be at 6:00. All Saints Day Masses will be on Wednesday, November 1st at 8 a.m. 1 and 6 p.m.
Ladies Club Meeting this Thursday, October 26th @ 6:00 in the double classroom.
Free guitar lessons start this Wednesday, October 25th at 6:30 in the bride’s room, here in the church.
Our Annual Memorial Mass is being held Monday, November 6th at 6:00. Please bring in pictures of your loved ones and place them on the tables set up in the church.
Pope Francis has called for peace in the Middle East and announced that Friday Oct.27th has been designated as a day of prayer & fasting. We will hold 12-hours for Adoration from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There are sign-up sheets in the church foyer.
